WOMENCENTRE HOMES

Providing supported housing for women escaping domestic abuse in Calderdale.

We are a Halifax based charity that provides supported housing for women and their dependant children escaping domestic abuse.

Our goal is to help families navigate the trauma of abuse and homelessness.

We collaborate with partners in Calderdale to provide access to specialised support, counselling, and wellbeing activities. Some

of these services are offered through our support partner WomenCentre, which focuses on prevention, intervention, recovery,

and empowerment for women.

Apply for a tenancy

To apply for a tenancy with us, you must meet the following eligibility criteria to be accepted onto the WomenCentre Homes waiting list:

You must be a woman
You must be at risk or have suffered harm and be in housing need
You must need supported housing and agree to actively engage with our housing support worker
