WOMENCENTRE HOMES
Providing supported housing in Calderdale for women escaping domestic abuse.
We are a Halifax based charity that provides supported housing for women and their dependant children escaping domestic abuse.
Our goal is to help families navigate the trauma of abuse and homelessness.
We collaborate with partners in Calderdale to provide access to specialised support, counselling, and wellbeing activities. Some of these services are offered through our support partner WomenCentre, which focuses on prevention, intervention, recovery, and empowerment for women.
Apply for a tenancy
To apply for a tenancy with us, you must meet the following eligibility criteria to be accepted onto the WomenCentre Homes waiting list:
- You must be a woman
- You must be at risk or have experienced harm and be in housing need
- You must need supported housing and agree to actively engage with our housing support worker

Agency Referrals
Agencies (Local Authority or Domestic Abuse Service Providers) can apply for a home on behalf of a client. Please download the application form below and email it to homes@womencentre.org.uk
